Not at all. I don't care if a kid commits to AU or not. Bama isn't a player for him, so I don't care where he goes if it isn't us.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him go outside the SEC. Makes it easier for him when it comes to family and friends who have loyalties to one team or another (ie UK).
Question, Busey. Why is UK not in the picture for Pike?

wont matter where he goes first because he will end up being kicked off the team.

He's not a UK fan (he's not a fan of any one team) and we pretty much stopped recruiting him once we got Patrick Towles to commit.

He is pretty stupid if he picks to go hold a clip board behind Kiehl Frazier.

Stopped recruiting the #3 QB in the nation because you had the #23 committed? Oh well, thanks for the answer.

2 weeks ago he had a detailed roadmap for when he would narrow down to top 15, then 10, 8, etc..........

He said it would extend out over the summer.

What happened?

I've felt like he would choose Purdue. Maybe Auburn can land him? I don't like our chances to land top qbs anytime soon because its a position we are too loaded at. Would love to have him though.

Whoever gets him will be getting a good one and he seems like a good young man. He would be very dangerous in Petrino's offense.

He got a pretty cool backpack while in Auburn this weekend.

Pike was a long shot, anyways. It would be terrible to neglect Towles in pursuing Pike and have him go elsewhere. Plus Towles has Jared Lorenzen coaching him.

I've seen AU homers compare this kid to Tebow out of HS and/or Jeff Driskel. Are these legit comparisons or just homers being homers?
