Any fan (Florida or otherwise) who defends dirty shite like this is a piece of shite. Florida was and is the superior team and their fans should be proud of their team. They should also be able to step up and say it was a dirty POS move, acknowledge it and move on. Nothing else holds any weight.

Anyone remember Spurrier complaining about this type of stuff when he was HC @ UF?

Seems like I remember TT spraying water in his eye after the <gasp> helmet to helmet play. Maybe Spikes thought he was getting some payback.

If it can be proved anyone is doing something like this (and in this case I think it's pretty damn obvious) their arse needs to be suspended. The only thing worse than robbing someone of their sight would be to put them in a wheelchair with a dirty blindside. I don't know exactly what I would do if my son's eye was put out by something like this bullshite, but I guaran-damn-fricking-tee you it would make the 6:00 news.

If he was poking eyes it was unconscionable and he should face a suspension. If he was taking a cheap shot and stuffing his hand in his face then he should have gotten a penalty.
The game was chippy all around and fights were on the verge of breaking out numerous times throughout the game. Was there any actual damage done to Ealey?
Is this something that occurs on almost every pile up I don't know, I don't think it ought to, but oh well.
But for the record, I think every single person wishing bodily harm to Spikes for this, is just as bad as anything Spikes did. I wished Docket would have gotten severe NCAA sanctions for ACTUALLY injuring Ernest Graham in a pile. But I would not have wished him to be shot or blow out a knee that is something you just shouldn't do.

I was blasted by a few posters when I said spikes was the dirtiest player during the Florida game.

He constantly looks for the cheap shot. Hitting defenseless players, hitting players who are out of bounds. Poking eyes, scratching. Punching in tackle piles. This guy is classless. I hope he finds his way to Angola.
