Because The Vandy PR had just attacked Wade before the hit?

Otherwise the comparison makes no sense.

It's football

Big bodies are running at full speed, while walking a tight rope that could cause a penalty, to have a chance to cause a fumble and make a large play for our team.

Give me more kids like this every day.

I agree you never kick a man when he is down, JJ should have been thought this before he was allowed to grow up to be the thug piece of shite of a human he has.

The returner never called for a fair catch, he was shileding his eyes. Wade is not looking up at the ball, he is looking at the returner. He hit him early and it was clearly a penalty, which was called. He probably celebrated a big hit, but he obviously had no idea that the guy was "hurt". He cruched a guy and popped up with a reaction that most kids would have.

Probably the most reasonable post in this thread.

quote:

Where Wade really got out of line was his defiant behavior on the sidelines pulling away for his coach. Bottom line is he hit the returner early and was penalized for it. He was clearly not trying to hurt a player and looked as if he didnt even know it was early until he got to the sideline. An ejection for that play is laughable and so is the absurd reaction by over dramatic media and message board posters.

If this play happens in the Big 10, the offending player probably plays the rest of the game.

Now, I want to see if there is consistency within the LSU poster ranks. If Wade's hit is terrible, then they should be very disappointed that LSU did not remove JJ from the team.

Show me the YouTube of JJ kicking a helpless guy on the ground.

You don't know what JJ did, nor do I.

It was a very cheap shot against a helpless guy, and could have caused unneccesary injury. His actions on the sidleine just back up the notion that he's a piece of shite.

Show me the film of Wade's celebration, all we have is eye witness reports, kinda like a certain QB at LSU.

This thread is confirming how shitty the Arkansas fan base is.

Not that anyone needed anymore proof. But seriously what an absolutely crappy fan base.

If JJ did what he is accused of doing, I believe he acted like a thug POS and his 4 game suspension was warranted.

See, that's what I don't get. I can admit when an LSU player acts like a thug. Why can't Arky? And if JJ, or any other player on our team would have acted the way Wade did all the way out of the stadium, I sure as hell wouldn't be on here congratulating him and calling everybody else pussies.

Honestly, I can't think of any other fan base that would.

And he's taught to spear the returner with the crown of his helmet ??? Just stop already with your STUPID excuses !!!
It's a FLAGRANT personal foul...the kind one SELDOM sees during even the most competitive games !
Just admit it and move along...you pigs sound like assholes on this one !

Oh, man I'm scared......

Save that pussy shite for someone who cares. I've been in South Central for work the past 4 weeks.

This kid is so far from a Human Being it's comical. He's the guy you want going 110% effort even if it might cause a mistake. We need more players like him.

Arkansas respects our service men.

This reminds me of the Auburn fans who defended Chaz Ramsey. Then, 2 years later, all agreed he was a douche and a bad mark on Auburn's team.

DaleD, since you were apparently at the bar when JJ was there, tell us what you saw.

You don't think the returner was just shielding his eyes from the sun and was going to return it?

It's obvious our player couldn't see the ball.

Arkansas players had several other late hits that should have been called. I don't understand why ya'll can't just say it was a cheap shot and go on.

Bring them on, all of them. A kid that goes 110% like that even if it could be a penalty, I want.

I get the whole "trying to time the hit" thing. My problem was that he ducked his head and put the crown of his helmet into the other guys facemask (would have been his chin had he not looked down at the last second). If he sees what he hits or just throws a shoulder he probably stays in the game.

You can eject a player for one foul if it's deemed flagrant. That is the ACTUAL rule.

So you are saying he was ejected (for lack of a better term) flagrant kick-catch interference? That is wild.

The hit was brutal/illegal and deserved a flag. If he taunted/celebrated after the hit (I have not seen that evidence) then he should have also drawn a DB USC and (possibly) been ejected. Just does not make sense to me. Guess that is why I am not an SEC official.
