I saw bring on Chubbs, he's going to face a run defense like he hasn't faced all year. Our top 5 defense will shut down the one dimensional UGA offense.

Stanley "Boom" Williams - 18 carries, 128 yards, 2 TDs at 7.0 YPC.

UK was truly one-dimensional against UL due to Towles' shaky play and UL allowed a true freshman APB to go for 7 YPC.

Chubb finna eat.

Congrats on that Florida win, oh wait, you couldn't beat a Florida team with a coach that was a dead man walking

I'm not the one touting my all world defense. Your team isn't as good as you think you think they are. You lost by double digits to the one ranked team on your schedule. Sorry, I'm having a hard time seeing the source of your confidence.

Easy, we've heard it all before. We heard in 1990 that we didn't deserve to be on the same field as Alabama in the Fiesta Bowl. Well we didn't listen and we proceeded to beat that Alabama team 34 - 7. If there was any team that didn't deserve to be on the field that day it was Alabama.

Fast forward to 2012, all we heard about was how Florida was going to be able to name the score on us, that their backups could win this game. Once again we didn't listen and we proceeded to beat that Florida team 33 - 23 in a game that wasn't even nearly that close.

So please, my apologies that we aren't shaking in our boots at the might Georgia Bulldogs. Everything you all have said (we're bigger, we're going to run it down your throat, you haven't face athletes like ours, you don't even deserve to be on the same field as us) is the same stuff we heard from the SEC fans when we played Alabama and Florida. You all wanted us to believe we couldn't compete so it would be a self fulfilling prophecy. Well just like we didn't listen then, we won't listen now, and just like then we'll come out tonight with a victory!

Tried to get our players kicked out of the game with pre game antics and yet you couldn't beat us with our 3rd string QB. Oh and BTW what bowl game is UK going to this year, I want to make sure I watch. Oh wait that's right you aren't going to one, we ended your football season!

As for UGA, just like we couldn't compete with UF in the Sugar Bowl 2 years ago right? Just like we couldn't compete with Alabama back in the 1991 Fiesta Bowl right? We should just forfeit now right? UGA is going to find out just like UF and Bama did, just because we might be in Kentucky doesn't mean they are playing UK. That unlike UK (where the game is over before the players even get on the field) they'll be in for a battle for 4 quarters and have to play good ball if they want to win. Unlike UK, we aren't intimidated.

The more you try to say we can't compete, the more I believe that really you are scared and that we have this game in the bag!

What does any of that have to do with UL's amazing run defense giving up career highs to a true freshman APB playing in a one-dimensional offense?

I'll answer for you - nothing.

UK wasn't a very good football team this year and was a dropped interception away from beating UL at home, despite UL's top 15 pick WR and an all-American at Safety.

UGA should wipe the floor with UL and it shouldn't be all that competitive. With that said, UGA should have wiped the floor with SCAR and UF (and probably GT).

This game all hinges on which UGA team shows up in Charlotte. The team that blanked Missouri, pounded Auburn and looked like world-beaters or the team that lost to UF and SCAR.

The outcome of this game has very little to do with Louisville.

Plus having Grantham as DC we'll know some of their coverages.

Wow. You DO realize that Pruitt is not running the same defense Grantham did, right? We do however know the defense that grantham runs and his tendencies?

Yep JDHLaw just like the UF game 2 years ago right? No chance whatsoever right. I bet you were just as confident 2 years ago as well. You're right, we should just forfeit and spare ourselves the embarrassment to the almighty SEC team that couldn't even beat Georgia Tech, lol.

Just like you were wrong 2 years ago, you will be wrong tonight and I look forward to coming back and eating your crow.

You would lose that bet. You can keep saying

UF AMIRITE GUYZ UF LOSE YUR BET AMIRITE

all you want, but these are two completely different situations. It's unsurprising that a representative of the city college is a raging fricking idiot, but at least have some dignity about you.

Playing UF in the Sugar Bowl with a former UF coach and a bunch of Clint Hurtt-recruited SoFla players is somewhat different than playing UGA in the Belk Bowl.

In fact, since we're talking about history that you find relevant, can you remind me what happened the last time the Louisville Cardinals played in the Belk Bowl?

Even if Pruitt runs a completely different defense Grantham still knows those players running that defense. He knows those players and their strengths and weaknesses. If we were talking 2 - 3 years from now I would agree Grantham's knowledge would be worthless but he's only been gone a year, I have a feeling his knowledge will be useful.

Technically it goes both ways as well, who's the say Grantham is running the same defensive scheme's here that he ran at UGA? Completely different players, my bet is most of the plays and formations are at least a little different. Never mind he'll be motivated for this game.

No he doesn't. He's an idiot. Why do you think we were ecstatic when he left. And LOOK! Our defense improved in spite of having a whole new secondary and other freshmen starting.....amazing. I DID notice hat your defense got worse as the season went on, though. Looks like Grantham is doing a bang up job!

No, Todd Gurley beat Clemson. I will give him credit, I've never seen a player single handily dominate an opponents defense as Gurley dominated Clemson that day. I agree that while we have an outstanding RB core that none of them are on the same level as Gurley. That game is probably a last minute type game without Gurley.

Just one problem for UGA thought, Gurley isn't playing tonight. This UGA team will be far more like the one that lost to Georgia Tech and Florida than the one that beat Clemson. Also, we didn't have Devante Parker when we played Clemson, with Devante Parker we beat Clemson and again that's another advantage for us. You all haven't faced a WR like Devante Parker all year.

Oh? You didn't see what Chubb did to that vaunted Clmson defense?

And Louisville lost to Virginia this year? really? VIRGINIA?

One of Louisville's crowning achievements:

Beating an Alabama team that also lost to an 8-4 Southern Mississippi team and a 4-7 UGA team.

Both of those losses without our best WR Devante Parker, who BTW is the best WR in the nation.
