LSU
I thought me talking about Austin Nola and Wake Forest would've gave it away

Mississippi State's baseball team has been known as the Diamond Dawgs for years. Our baseball team also has its own logo only used in baseball. Mississippi State baseball has a lot of tradition.
You know who else does that?

Diamondawg,
What's your prediction for this season?

I really see my Diamond Dawgs having a good season.
2009 start - 8-1
Not trying to hate, but with Cohen it seems to be the same story. Remember that it's just Akron and Lamar.
May be good (especially with his recruiting) but probably still rebuilding.

LSU has a frickton of talent, how that talent will progress and perform throughout the year is obviously still in doubt.
Mikie Mahtook will likely be one of the best hitters in the conference. If our frosh pitchers(Kevin Gausman, Ryan Eades, and Kurt McCune) pitch like they did this weekend, the SEC is in trouble. Newcomers like Raph Rhymes and JaCoby Jones were also very impressive at the plate. Matty Ott looked fantastic also.
very encouraging weekend, though it is only the first weekend. IF, LSU's newcomers produce, LSU will be the best team in the SEC and return to Omaha...I'm very confident in saying that
we'll see

I'm pretty sure we're all perfectly aware of that. Nobody's packing for Omaha yet.

I think we have two of Polk's players left. Cohen said he finally has the athletes he needs in place. This is the third year which is the same year he turned Kentucky around. Either way, we'll just have to wait and see.
