Cancelled the first game due to weather. Start out 4-0. Complete shitfest from there on out.

Nah your mixing up 2014 with 2013.

We had the first game vs Idaho in 2014 rained out due to weather.

We started 2013 4-1, losing at Miami (really we had no business losing that game if you go back and watch it).

Yes, it was the nature of the games that made it so horrible.

going old sckool

1989 LSU was #5 to start the season, KO return for TD vs Aggie started the year and went to shite from there. Lost to VANDY on a offensive PI on a Kinchen TD to win, horrible awful year, started the run of 6 straight losing seasons as well ugh

All I have to say is Jevon Snead on the cover of SI.

You can say anything about anybody, as long as you follow it with "Bless your heart", then its not mean.

That is pretty bad. '89 and '98 were similar years for LSU. In looking at the actual AP preseason polls:

89 - Preseason LSU #7, lost opener and never recovered - finished 4-7 LSU 1989 season
98 - Preseason LSU #9, got up to #6 before losing- finished 4-7 LSU 1998 season

With that being said...the LSU loss to Vanderbilt you are talking about was 1990.

2000. We were ranked #3 to start the season...that actually proved prophetic as that was the number of games we won that year...

2009? Y'all still finished #20 and won 9 games.
