Citrus has never been considered major but perhaps the top non-BCS bowl and top non-NY6 bowl. The only time the Citrus was considered major was in January 1991 when it had national championship implications for Georgia Tech.

Not true. It was the first 10-win REGULAR season. The following seasons were all 10 wins but with a bowl game win:
1955--10-1
1958--10-1
1960--10-0-1
1962--10-0
1971--10-2
2003--10-3
2021--10-3 (10-2 without bowl game)

Since the SEC expanded in 1992 Kentucky, Mississippi State and Ole Miss are deadlocked at two ten win seasons apiece in 30 years

MedDawg: why didn't you post your team's NY6, Major Bowl, Playoff record? Seems very little brother of you just to comment on Ole Miss. Not that I'm surprised.
Well, here it is anyway:
Cotton Bowl, 0-1
Peach Bowl, 1-2
Orange Bowl, 1-2
Sugar Bowl--0
Rose Bowl--0
Fiesta Bowl--0
Playoff--0
Overall: 2-5

Ok shift it however you want. It’s still an insane statistic. At least from a Big6 scope. 10 wins is a decent year for us. Not bad but not as good as we can be.
