Most of those wins vs Auburn came since the early 90's. But I love it when you boys get cocky. It seems to backfire a lot

Two nice Georgia regions with strong recruiting targets.

I feel like TN could be the surprise team this year in the SEC. Our first 6 games will make that a dream or a reality this year like most seasons.

GT* (in ATL) - I think with GT changing QB's and him missing all of spring practice and us having a very long time to prepare for the option gives us a slight edge. Will be a tough game for sure.

TN - 34 GT - 27
W

Indiana St
TN - 55 Indiana State - 6
W

@Florida - TN has been the better team on the field for three years in a row in the matchup but only has 1 win to show for it. Both teams lose a lot of production but I do think TN has been recruiting better and has more talent on the roster. But with this game being in the swamp and TN having a new QB making his first road start, I have to side with an L here.

Florida - 24 Tennessee - 20
L

UMass
Tennessee - 45 Umass - 17
W

UGA- This will be a huge game for Butch Jones and the 2017 season if TN does in fact take an L to UF. With the bye week coming up to get players rest TN will need a big win to have a positive vibe during the break. I think TN has the DL talent to hold UGA's running game at bay and I am not sure I trust Eason on the road yet. I think TN's O will have a great running game themselves this year and we can get a big W here in typical TN-UGA dramatic fashion.

TN - 30 Georgia - 28
W

Bye

South Carolina- TN faces SC off a bye again this year. Butch has not ever beaten Champ and Champ has never lost to the Vols. Bentley is a great QB and this will be another very tight game. I do think the Vols have much more talent across the roster and see our OL dominating this game and helping us take the win at home.

Tennessee - 31 SC - 24
W

It means that since 2010, we're 5-2 against them but they forget that

FIFY

Hate the idea that we're making up for having a tough P5 road game by playing two teams that are essentially FCS (even though one of them is an excellent program).

That said, anything less than 5-1 in our first six would be disastrous. We shouldn't have any problem beating the three M schools, although Fitz will probably give us (and a lot of teams) trouble this year.

Last season, LSU was in a better position to win the game.

UF had a patchwork OL and was missing many of our key defensive players.

On top of that, we were playing in Baton Rouge, when the scheduled game was to be at home.

LSU had every advantage in that game...and lost.

This year, LSU should be facing a much improved team in the Swamp.

So, like I said, if we were able to beat LSU last year on the road...this year at home should be a win as well.

Remember, we also fricked up a bunch of times in the Red Zone.

The score could of been out of hand.

10 of 26 = most?

Counting is hard. There you go with that Mississippi education again.

That's .380, barely higher than your .300 all-time against. 4 of those wins came at the height of Sherrill's cheating, so that percentage is stop to drop fast.

Lets count from the year 2000 instead, which will still include one of Sherrill's cheating wins and you're a much more realistic .294 against Auburn. Get used to that, that is what State is to Auburn.
