No offense, honestly. But how is that even possible? USC finished 7-5 with 2 1000-yard rushers with losses to (had to look it up) Appalachian State and Miami of Ohio??? What?

George Rogers, Heisman trophy winner, and Steve Taneyhill also had very average W-L records despite their individual success. You'll find that, until recently, most of our all-time greats weren't surrounded by other greats and were heavily relied on for however many seasons they played.

He went to my high school in Clinton. He was a great back, especially considering the surrounding cast was not that great then. J.D Fuller also went to this school 5 years later and is still the current leader at Carolina with the most tackles all time at 405.

same backfield with Clarence Williams? long to the jets, Williams to the chargers I think?
