Olympic sport.
Baseball is not.
Track > Baseball

To go along with the logic a bit further.

Badminton > Football

Handball > Wrestling (at least until it is reinstated in 2020)

Table Tennis > Baseball

Ice Dancing is an Olympic Sport... as is Badmitton, Curling, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Sailing...

If that's your benchmark...

Talk about a irrelevant math problem asking for the sum of two irrelevant secondary sports...

Here, Dale...I'll do the math for you.

Baseball - 8-5
Softball - 19-5

Overall - 27-10

Curling is pretty boring. As is golf when you're not playing it or watching The Masters.

By that same advanced logic.

Track > Football

Football is largely a US only sport.

In the US it replaces the popularity soccer enjoys around the world.

Baseball was a world wide sport who lost interest from the world, that is the definition of secondary sport.

Track is still popular around the world and backbone of the Olympic games.

Eh.. to an extent. You could argue gymnastics for that as well.

I've watched two minutes of curling ever. So... one thing that is more boring than track.

Golf is much better than track, even if you're just watching it on tv.

If you are talking about popularity...then Soccer is the most popular sport in the world, followed by Cricket...and field hockey is actually third (if you list them by # of fans around the world).

So...where is the cricket board?

Gymnastics gets better ratings than track and field during the Olympics. I think the only people tuning into a track event were just wanting to watch Bolt.
