The HC for Sewanee's death march through the SEC where they didn't win a game for 8 years. To wrap up a season he'd be as good as anyone else and knowing his hand was at the tiller I could tune into the games and not be troubled by faint hopes of winning. Then we get a good coach in the off season and come back ready to play next year.
