CBSsports has an O-Line listing that I like, but I disagree with some of their other position rankings.

LINK

Taylor Lewan isn't a top 3 OT, imo, but they think so. Really they're the only ones that think it from what I have seen.

LINK

Another one here, Travis Frederick, who I didn't even know before looking at their rankings. Same goes for Braden Hansen.

It is still preseason though, but neither of our O-lines will drop in my opinion.

Give bama the most trouble VS the run? That's easy the one and only team that held them under 100 yards rushing in a game last year, LSU.

It will be the best D-line bama faces again this year.

Most pressure comes off the edge with two All American DEs or All American corner coming on a blitz.

We will match-up just fine. Bama will struggle to score on offense for 3 quarters. But because our OL will be getting beatdown by your DL- keeping our defense on the field for way too long, we will fold in the 4th and Bammer wins by 2 TD's

LSU does return 100+ starts along the O-line.

Two year starter at LT
possible three year starter at LG
Three year starter at C
Two+ year starter at RG
Three year starter at RT

Two All SEC tackles at the very least. Both will push for All American honors. Have seen some mock drafts that have them both going in the first round.

Coming out of high school L Collins was ranked #1 OT in the country the whole year till Kouijo passed him on the very last recruiting update.
They will both be great in their own rite. The only thing is I haven't seen a single LSU fan project Collins to be a first round pick. Have seen many bama fans make that claim about Kouijo though.

LSU D-line was in on one third of the tackles in both the game @ bama and the one in the dome. That's a very good indicator that they were getting to the ball carrier pretty regular.

Yeah, they were, they didn't do it in the back field though. When they did it was against Steen/Alfred or a TE.

AJ gave up on the play. He didn't even try to run through the big arse hole in front of him.

No. That doughy frick got beat right the frick back into AJ's kitchen and AJ had to try to scramble. Jones got beat again and Sonic Sam sacked AJ for the most important play defensive play of the game.

Bitch.

which could have won the game for Ala****

That Pillsbury frick couldn't hold up to the pressure and let his QB get sacked out of decent FG position. That must really chap his arse.

In the game at bama LSU D-ine was in on 20+ tackles. Bama was held to under 100 yards rushing.

bama had seven possession inside or at the LSU 30 yard line. A total of 16 plays were run, only three went for posotive yards. Twelve plays went for zero or negative yards. The 16th play was a turnover.

Richardson's last five carries went for -5 yards. His last 15 carries only twice did he gain over three yards. Second half TR avg 3 ypc.

Lacy's last four carries netted a -2 yards.

Somebody was getting into the backfield.

Between the two games LSU "D" recorded 14 TFLs, six were by D-linemen.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Barett Jones. He's so good. Lawrence Taylor and Michael Strahan couldn't get past Barett Jones. Ever. Even in their dreams.

Wrong. Just watched it, Jones didn't get beat, McCarron ran up past Jones' block and then all Sam had to do was let go of Jones.

Wrong again slick.

Sam beat Ethan Suplee. I watched it 5 times earlier tonight. Suplee gets forced back right into AJ's grill. AJ has to try to scramble. Sam punks that white boy to the ground and AJ gets knocked to the ground for a sack. Keep living in your little dream world where Randy Hickey isn't a pussy.

Against Alfred, TEs, and Vlachos. The three weak points. Vlachos made a living off of getting dominated tbh. Jones was injured later in the game, and it's not an excuse, it's a fact. Jones did good, Fluker did good, Warmack did good.

eta : Warmack did better in NOLA, he didn't have a very good game in November.

Literally replaying it right now, Sam DID push him back, but AJ should never have gotten in front of Jones. It was AJ's fault.

Again, even if that play had gone different and Sonic Sam had blew past Jones, it doesn't matter. You won the game. Cool, no one cares about that game any more, which means any game winning play means nothing now. Jones handled Sam all night long.

But your post earlier said Sam Montgomery nor any other LSU DL would get past Frankie Stechino. Seems it only matters when it favors your argument. Which just simply isn't true. It happened multiple times last season and it'll happen again in Baton Rouge this November. Maybe Elwood can compose a little violin song about it though.

If I understood this post I'd be of more help, but I really don't understand what you're even trying to say. Of course people are gonna beat even the best O-Line, no one is going to lock down the D-Lineman they're up against every play of the game, no matter how good or bad they are.

I don't wanna argue or flame, let's keep it civil.
