I am not going to argue whether or not Les should lose his job, but this public lynching to which you people have subjected your winningest coach is deplorable. Winning national and SEC titles entitles the man to more discretion than you Ya-hoos are affording him. If he will not be retained as the LSU head coach, this decision should have been made swiftly and deftly, behind closed doors. Instead you placed your once-beloved Les Miles in a the town square stocks; subjecting him to public ridicule and derision. Is this how you repay consistent relativity and multiple championships? Should he not be allowed the opportunity to dictate his departure on his own terms??

Ask yourselves this question LSU fans: how would LSU have fared replacing the prodigal Saban with the likes of Charlie Weiss, Rich Rodriguez, Brady Hoke, Lane Kiffen, Will Muschamp, Gene Chisik, Houston Nutt, Bo Pelini, Bobby Petrino or even Steve Spurrier???
What is that old saying about frying pans and fires?????

Just another blind sheep riding the media hype train. It works because it takes hold of everyone, including the fanbases of the team in question.

uhhh, I'm an LSU fan and I actually didn't do that. I actually wasn't asked by the LSU Athletic Department how the Les Miles situation should be handled.

Your okay with Les being grilled about his future by some chick SEC network reporter?? Seriously?? That was humiliating. I hope Les burns every redshirt tomorrow and takes his recruits to the university of Frick you LSU.

If they have a home run hire in the bull pen, it was necessary. If they don't have one lined up it will be disastrous. Mal had Saban in his pocket all along. He knew it. LSU AD is about to look like a genius or a complete idiot.

Les is a big boy, he can take care of himself. He talks to whomever he wants.

Nobody in the administration at LSU asked for my opinion. And we at LSU sure didn't ask the opinion of those in Tuscaloosa so go Frick off.

Why does anyone have any sympathy for a guy making 4 million a year with a 15 million buyout on the way?

There really isn't anyway to do a coaching change and have it look good. The process is long and formal and today's media makes you look bad no matter what. Ratings. The question is : is the new coach an upgrade to Les? Time will tell.

Let's talk about how you repay alums who lead you through crippling NCAA sanctions and even give you a 10 win season in the process

LSU fans are funny. Or stupid.

A month ago Les is the Mad Hatter, Les is a genius. Les is a great guy. Best human on earth. Les has this team headed for the playoff. Les has Buga and bringing in the #1 class, he's going to dominate the SEC for years now.

Now, he's got $4mill per year and a big buyout so screw that guy.

Have an up vote.

The Rantards have won.

LSU has lost.

We are heading towards mediocrity. If we're lucky.

Dark days are upon us.

Winter is Coming.
