The bitching about LSU's hurt players is quickly becoming a bad case of sour grapes.

Some people can't be helped I guess.

I liked how Alabama fans booed there own team in the second half.

LSU fans boo their own players also, happened a couple times this year also. So it is not just a Bama thing

Thanks for the honesty.

This is just the nature of fandom.

Yep...this is true...but not when injured. And when have we cheered when the opponent's players are on the ground and injured?

this is about cheering when college players are injured. Nothing more or less.

Ok, the first time there was cheering was in response to LSU fans chanting LSU. Another time the LSU fans above the student section were taunting the student section.

We shouldn't have booed the kid that got hurt towards the end.

All I will say is that reports from LSU folks at the game are different than what you are saying.

I have been to many LSU games where a small portion of fans cheered for opponents injury. It is not just limited to a Bama thing. Every fan base has classless fans that make the entire fan base look bad. LSU is not immune to it either, just like after Auburn game I saw a college kid run up to an older Auburn couple and take the guys hat off and throw it on ground. Seriously is that called for? Not only does it make that guy look like a jerk it makes all LSU fans look bad.

The real Shocker is that most bama fans are denying it. And the comments began during the in-game thread. No need to thank me for clearing that up for you.

I'm pretty unbiased, so here's what I saw and heard.

LSU had several guys get hurt. Some guy told me he counted 9 different injury timeouts. Of course, we all know that injury timeout equals CBS timeout = frustration.

The first few injuries it was quiet just like always. There was applause given when the kid got up and ran off, etc.

On either the 3rd or 4th injury, I believe it was Peterson, LSU fans in the North Upper Deck started chanting LSU, so people started booing that. Then the student section started chanting Roll Tide.

After that it was katy bar the door. Open season. Some where classless. Some got caught up in the heat of the moment.

A couple of things though. The cheerleaders never led a cheer, they were doing their normal thing during an injury. And each time somebody got hurt there were several thousand that gave them a hand on the way off.

I will still say that some of ours were classless and should've never booed the last kid that got hurt.

Regardless, it's just something for LSU fans do bitch about because they got beat, aka sour grapes.

It's absolutely terrible when anyone does it and all doing it should be called out.

For some maybe...but the comments about the cheering began during the in-game thread long before the game was over.

I have no problem saying the better team won yesterday. But cheering while players are injured has nothing to do with the outcome of the game.

What do you want us to do, suspend their tickets?

I don't think two situations were comparable, but was it ok to chant F-You Saban last year? Was that classless?

Maybe we should install video cameras and pinpoint where the booing is coming from? Will that suffice for you?

Again, just call it like it is, sour grapes.

You also have a guy on here claiming we were booing our own team when we were booing the refs and yelling for WHOOOOOOOOOOlio.

This is exactly the kind of thread that makes everyone hate Bama fans. Why don't you STFU and go back to your own board? No one here gives a damn about you or anything you say.

You're saying it's a few...others are saying it was quite a few. Many bama fans said it never happened at all. A few bama fans admitted it did happen and was unacceptable.

Because in my opinion this is the best college football on the internet.

But then again.

But it does make it hypocritical on y'alls part.

Let's just leave it at this. The Bama fans that booed the kid that was injured were in the wrong and it was a classless thing to do.

It's okay, deaux68.....don't let us get to you too much .......look, we can all pick about how classless any fanbase from any school is.......let's just say that we both proud we come from the south, and y'all were better than us yesterday....congrats...and leave it at that
