Losing to Arky and USC still gives you a 6-2 conference record. I don't think that puts you in Atlanta, TBH. We haven't had a multiple-loss SEC East champ since USC went in '10.

As I mentioned, I don't think that puts you in Atlanta, but if I have to lose a couple a non-conference game, I'd rather beat Clemson than UNC.
But not a bad thread idea.

Three losses and you are out of playoff so its all about conference championship so:
Fresno State, Vandy, and UF. With victories over UA, AU, and LSU, I'll take that record right now.

@LSU - most on tRant expect this to happen anyway
@UK - potential trap game
Would definitely consider this to be a disappointing year, but at least we'd still have an outside shot at the SECCG (I don't think LSU will finish better than 5-3 in conference, so losing h2h won't hurt) and we would close out the year strong with wins against Arky, Ole Freezus, TAMU, UGa and Bama.

OOC: NMSU and ECU are early in the season. Losing to FAU would be worse than Georgia Southern. So I guess that leaves FSU.
