H.Jones, re their mascot, why, then, did the athletic dept issue a press release this past wk re the change from Black Bears to Land Sharks? Update us as to when was the last time Col. Reb walked the sidelines in Oxford. Dumb arse.

IF L6u can beat Auburn then anything is possible. so yes i can see a good QB lighting them up... also after
all the rat poisoning the fans are eating i'm sure the players are too.

All LSU has to do is play Les style football

I am less concerned about a pass heavy team than a dominant run team due to wearing out. They may hit some big plays on the man to man coverage, but I will take our DBs to make a few more plays.

+1. Our Tigers are way too young to take for granted. Patterson will be trying to prove he's the best QB in our conference + he's a Louisiana native. Going to be another WAR. Bring it!

BTW: Must suck to be Ala. fan and sleep walk through football games. I prefer a challenge and some satisfaction with beating "better" teams. LSU may not beat ALA this season but they will come to play per usual. Get ready!

I think it will be a close hard fought game for three quarters but the Rebs will wear down in the 4th from the pounding in the trenches. LSU wins by double digits.

How long did Patterson live in Louisiana?
