I'd rather go to SPI. It's warmer, even deep into December you can still have a good swim and be comfortable, not affected by the BP Oil Spill, and it's minutes from Mexico.
The sands are "whiter" in Gulf Shores, but does that mean it's a better beach? Not in my opinion.

Alabama is like the death star. It has its own gravitational pull.
Like it or not, we all reside in the same galaxy as Bama. If Bama's death star gets blown up, all the other planets (recruits) we hope to bring to our galaxy won't be able to resist the gravitational pull from the other conference galaxies. All of our assets will be slowly drawn out and our galaxy will become nothing.
Right now, when we can get these other planets into our galaxy they either get drawn in by Bama's death star or they sail through and join another galaxy.
The solution is not to blow up the death star. The solution is for others in the conference to build their own.

heres the real problem. what big name coach has been hired by any other sec school since saban was hired at bama? saban was a big name coach when hired at bama. lets see

my point is, the only big name is petrino and he hasnt ever won anything. most are newcomers with little or no head coaching experience. the results are plain as day. its no wonder the sec is being ran over by saban and bama. hes the only bigtime general in the conference, amongst kids.
