I wish you to know that your oddly-written sentiments have had the effect you desire. I am now sadly aware that Bama's run is over and LSU will claim their spot atop the SEC. This is a crushing blow to both my morale and self-worth. With each choppy stanza, I became more aware of the impending doom in my life. "He's right.", I said to myself. "What will I do now?".

LOL - I like that - in a world of basic standards is it not refreshing to run into that which challenges you just a little in the moment. It's ok - your brain is not going to fall out.

Football is the essence of male ego - we put on jock straps and go knock the living shite out of the guy in front of us. Don't think for a moment that Nick and Les don't live out true battles on the field with these young men that they go into homes promising them the glory of college lure to do battle.

Bama vs Lsu is an epic battle fought for the pride of Alabama and Louisiana. It is not just a game, it is the gathering of the varied groups of culture. Those that have catered gatherings in private suits to those on folding chairs with buckets of fried chicken and cold beer.

It is truly one of the glories of the new south as we gather around the field of battle paying great sums of money to witness the battle of what legends are made of.

Geaux Tigers - sorry for my need to rattle Bama fans

I agree with the title and first sentence (though I don't think it's absolute rather than a good possibility)

Without having skin in the game, I feel similarly (the first two points); however, on the road, against a great team with a great coach, LSU's secondary needs to come to play and Harris needs to keep playing smart or LSU could lose. I'm not saying Harris has to be mistake free, he just needs to keep doing the things he's been doing

I wish I could be at the game but just can't - I would have great empathy for all the crying Tide fans since I have been on the losing side for the last 4 games. Nothing in the Bama mind-set is ready for what the rest of the Sec world plainly sees. You guys just are not that good. You have a nice front 7 but that is it.

You have a big bull running back that runs straight ahead with no ball skills. You have a very average QB that is color blind and moves slow but strong.

Your OL is very average and you DBs fail the test every time they are tested by a average QB.

We will rush the ball and pass when we want to. You will have many 3 and outs and not know what to do when down 2 TDs. That about sums it up !

Sorry Bama - nothing last forever - Nothing

Cliff is my favorite LSU poster. I think he's talking shite, but it's tough to tell. And claiming he learned to write like that from engineers.... Pure beauty

And I would adjust...I don't think you see change when it happens, you have to see it when confronted with the undeniable proof

LSU would have to curb stomp Alabama for me to think the op is correct, and while I don't expect that to happen at all, I think LSU blowing them out is more likely than bama blowing them out...though I believe the outcome is 50/50

Cant wait until about 11 PM tomorrow night to see the following from LSU fans:

1. I'm done with Les
2. We hadnt played anybody and Bama exposed us
3. How the hell did Ole Miss beat Bama?
4. Harris will never win a meaningful game
5. You cant be a one man team in the SEC
6. Les will never beat Nick again
7. Ole miss will curb stomp us
8. The refs continuously missed the ______________

It's amazing how LSU seems to believe there is no way Bama wins this game. I didnt even see this in 07 when it was a given. Wow. I know its wishful thinking but you'd think they were playing McNeese

Carry on guys.

Come on man.....

Even as a posi-tiger, let's just let the game play out instead of throwing out stats and blind statements.

I agree that I think Bama is down, and that most people have not really took notice to the warning signs: Not dominant vs bad Wisconsin team, played poorly against Ole Miss, had 3 points midway through 3rd quarter against Arkansas, had to come back late, at home again, to beat Tenn.

Their OL looks extremely suspect. Coker is highly inconsistent. They play poorly at home. Their two big wins are against teams that are not that good, at all. Their run defense is boosted by the fact they have played a handful of teams that don't run the ball all that well. Tenn exposed their OL, and run defense when a team has a mobile QB. OM exposed their pass defense. They haven't really played a complete offensive team (OM can't run, Wisconsin can't run, Georgia can't pass, A&M can't run, Arky can't win).

Yes, people are completely living in the past with Bama. But, until LSU shuts down their 3 year run that they have going....we have to live with it. After tomorrow night, I expect Saban and Miles to be 3-3 over the last 6 regular season games....and LSU in the driver's seat to win their 3rd SEC Title in 9 years, and 4th SECW Title in 11 years.

I *love* when posters on here make vague allusions to their high-powered, stressful, big money jobs, all while having time to make multiple posts on here during the work day. For some reason, you usually see this coming from LSU, Auburn, and A&M posters. You're right, TigerCliff, if we could just see the burden you bear for one week, I'm sure we'd all be extremely impressed. No doubt you're a big shot.

I guess I should've said posting style. Because there's no way you write like that at work. Unless you're an integral part of the fry cooking operations offshore.
