You definitely need a good o-line to beat A&M

We shot ourselves in the foot a couple of times with costly errors but that d line for A&M dominated us and eliminated any hope I had for a comeback. They have a lot of talent and Myles Garrett is a monster.

Like I said on tScoreboard, A&M is the only team in worried about left on our schedule because unlike the other 5, they actually have an offense with a defense.

Or just have a runningback that can run right at us.

Looks like a good running attack and ball control can keep them in check. Keep the offense on the sidelines.

I think they are a bit delusional at this point. Competition has been less than impressive.

(I didn't know they played pENN sTATE this year)

TAMU is ranked 13th in the SEC in rush defense, 10th in total defense. Maybe MSU isn't very good?

Neither of a&m's units are the most impressive thing in the world, but as a team they are the most balanced in the conference in my opinion. Could be dangers against a few teams

I'm just glad we have a bye.

Here is who we didn't have available yesterday:

2 starting WR (Noil with an ankle injury and RSJ with the bullshite targeting call)

1 starting LB (Alaka got hurt during the Arkansas game and never returned)

backup RB (only played 2 series then had to get pulled)

It would be great if we were at full strength by Alabama

We screwed up, yet again, against the Aggies but the template we used of sucking all the time off the clock and keeping their potent offense on the sidelines is probably the best way to go. For that... you're going to need a good O-line.

I would say this is more likely.

Their DEs are very good but I still think they are vulnerable up the middle against the run.

Run right at them and take a few shots off of play action, that should be the gameplan against aTm. I don't think many teams have the OL to try and throw the ball around all day against that rush.

Miss State probably would have fared better if they were a good team.

I didn't know the title of my thread was Check in if you are an insecure Alabama fan with a micropenis.

SMH. We could be 10-0 at this point, and people would still claim we were overrated. Oh well. We are 5-0 and that is all that matters.

I love how the narrative changes on the rant. Last week State was a good team that most were picking to beat A&M. Now, they're not a good team because A&M beat them rather easily. If State isn't a good team, then what does that make LSU?

Where are we at in scoring defense? The way we play offense the other team is going to be able to run a ton of plays so yards/game isn't a very meaningful stat for us IMO. I'll take 17-21 points given up all day long

4-0 and the team that travelled to Starkville for their first game of the season and came out with a win.

What concerns me about A&M is not so much their talent but that they play hungry. Every other team sans Florida right now appears to just go through the motions. A&M wants it and it jumps out on the screen when they play.

And I really don't like complimenting Aggy. But with a buy before Bama their schedule sets up very well, even with the inevitable loss to us.
