Hell no, Bama has one of the more classic looks in the SEC. 
You could do it like LSU and maybe once a year. That sure stopped a lot of our threads about uniforms

Nothing wrong with it (although personally I don't think it looks as good) but more than anything it doesn't look like Bama to me. That said, I can see why Bama might use them - there's so many crimson/red etc teams that it can be difficult to tell who is who at first. I can only imagine how hard it is for new SEC fans, those who only see Bama in bowl games/rarely see them due to time zone and or because they live far away from SEC country, and casual CFB watchers.
