He has to have been cuckolded by an Alabama fan to have that much misdirected hate aimed at an entire group of people.

I'm sure Jay G Tate is just following his sources (and not reporting based on his hopes), but does anyone actually believe AU has had Trooper and Luper off the recruiting trail for three months for "secondary violations that occurred on campus"? That's just not how it works. You report to NCAA and, usually, have a six week off road period at most.

Also, I pose a question to the board:
Which is more likely, that the AU staff that has proven capable of winning 8 games with subpar talent (see 2009) just forgot how to coach this year, OR is the season in AU a sign of bigger issues - part of which being this investigation and the staff's concerns about what might come out?

Just something to consider.

I wouldn't be too concerned. Those fools couldn't find a hole if they fell in it.

Your leaning towards AU burning.

You are more believable when your middle of the road.

Are you talking about cash transactions at a bank? Yes they can be hidden but it would be reported for unknown source of cash or suspicious cash transactions, depending on value/volume of activity. They wouldn't know the true source/purpose of funds but would be reported to the government.

Again all I can do is laugh! Not one time did I mention a Bank. My original post was in reference to the statement that Auburn being caught cheating would make everyone think the entire SEC is cheating. The fact is they are. I just referenced my knowledge in dealing that go on everyday. Its not limited to the SEC either. Every damn conference does it. They were doing it 50 years ago and they are doing it now.

Burning? Nope. Not at all. I'm not predicting the end of AU. I do find it silly to think Trooper and Luper have been off the trail for as long as they have for only secondary violations. There has just been way too much chatter about them among coaches for way too long for it to just be secondary violations. I'm not saying there are majors out there that the NCAA will find, but I am saying AU (with a great compliance dept) likely pulled bc of secondaries AND because of other concerns. Perhaps they've been pulled while investigation is ongoing for safety only. However, based on my understanding of process, you don't stay off the road for this long for only a few secondary violations.

Yea that's the part that doesn't add up. Secondary violations don't keep recruiters off the road. I still think nothing will come from it though.

Why would showing up in a limousine in front of a 17 year old kids high school give him the impression that he could possibly receive benefits to go to that program. That is just crazy what kids dream up
