We got lucky last year ala 2012. You guys are going to hate hiring WM in 4-5 years. It'll take you guys a long time to clean up his mess. Prayers sent.

What does it matter who they hire

Just not true. If you start in the modern era 1970 to present we are a middle of the pack type of team.

If you want to start before black athletes could play or 1889 than yes weve been bad

South Carolina won the East in 2010 and won 11 games in 2011, 2012 and 2013. We finished the 2013 season in the Top 5 and won a bowl game in 2014. We are bad now but we haven't been one of the worst power 5 programs since the late 1990's.

It actually is a great reason to hire him in their positio

Truth. The talent infusion he have Auburn in our secondary alone is well worth the $1.3 million.

Gator fans will hate me for this, but as much as I talk shite about the man, he had some bad luck at Florida. Went 6-6 his first year, 11-1 his 2nd year, the wheels came off in year 3 when we were down to 3rd string walk-ons against GA southern. I mean, you might as well have put me out to play MLB at that point. And his 4th year he was forced to run an offensive system that wasn't his philosophy with players that weren't a fit for the system.

UF is a high pressure job where if your not winning 10 games a year and playing for SEC titles and Natties, your gonna have a bad time. Obviously, USC has lower expectations. If he gets them bowling again and continues pulling recruits, its a success. 1 or 2 10 win seasons a few years out and they'll put a 60 ft tall poster of him on the side of the stadium.

I think if you let him get his system in place and he learns to recruit offensive talent that fits the system, he'll turn out fine for USC.

Either way you can't fire him now that you've got him. Gotta give him 3 years at least unless he crashes a motorcycle or kills a hooker or something.

Spurrier Jr. left a mess that will take some time to repair. Talent poor would describe what was left for this staff.

It is always refreshing when you see a good post with good logic and reasoning.

Muschamp has the balls to coach Spurrier's 3 final failed recruiting classes that Steve's almighty ego wouldn't.

middle of the pack as in all 120 1A teams? Yes I agree that you've been around the 60s or so during that time.

They are not a football school and he was a Homeric hire for ISC. Spurrier was a fluke!

As a Gamecock i havnt a clue
I was not pleased almost depressed when he was announced. Then he started recruiting his arse off like no coach weve ever had.

Then the season started and no matter the opponent we cannot score in the first half nor can we score more than 14 pts.

I apologize to all of you guys that i got snippy with especially Florida fans. I didnt believe the bs but now i know its true.

You are a full-blown, authenticated, blue ribbon retard.

WTF does Muschamp have to work with, dumbass? Goddamn your bus gets shorter and shorter with every dimwitted, moronic, brain dead post you shite on this board with.

You really expected him to come in after the abortion of a job Spurrier performed recruiting wise and immediately turn things around?!

Do us all a favor and just shut the frick up, dopey. You embarrass yourself with the simpleminded drivel you litter this place with.

Goddamn tater. And I ABSOLUTELY stand behind what I said about you in reply to your completely ludicrous post last night. You make gamecockboi look like a genius who is the fricking president of MENSA.

How about lay the offensive issues at the feet of the person who really is responsible for the offensive woes? Shawn Failliot Elliott. He has been with this program for 6 years and what have we gotten to show for it?? An OL that continues to struggle more and more and more with every passing year that he has been the OL coach.

"Fans" like you just need to rot in hell....and I do not buy that you have ever been a Gamecock fan. If it talks like a tater, is retarded like a tater, posts like a tater..IT'S A frickING TATER.

Is this a typo, or an attempt at something like "L5U"?

Really hope it is the former.
