and by the time sanctions are due, the ncaa will accept Ole Miss's original offer of sanctions.

This guy is horrible and sounds like he's reeling hard for some self reassurance regarding the OM football program.

Well he certainly was no shrinking violet with his positive outlook for OM.

Flat out sounds crazy if he thinks what y'all are reporting. Short of nude pics of compromising positions of every NCAA investigator it ain't happening.

If that happens, you will literally see a live bidding war for recruits at the next national signing day.

The NCAA as an enforcement agency will be over and the ONLY teams that will get top recruits will be teams like Bama, LSU, A&M, etc that can actually afford to get into a bidding war.

The NCAA has enough in the original NOA to triple OM's self-sanctions. Why would they accept the original?

Y'all are all fricked if that happens considering Aggies are the wealthiest alumni base in the conference (other than Vandy)

A. Who is the guy?

B. How does he have access to the information?
B. (1) is he an Ole Miss attorney on the case and why is he telling this on Finebaum?
B. (2) Is he a John Doe?

My favorite Finebaum plant was this guys back in the Cam Saga.
Paul had a guy call in who claimed to be an MSU insider. This guy claimed to be literally in the shadows of Scott Field, and claimed that he had imtimate info on Mrs. Mullen and the Mullen's relationship with Cam.

Paul ended the call with "Thanks. SoSo, enjoy that Egg Bowl this week-end"

The guy says " you know it Paul! I can't wait for Ole Miss to get to Starkville Saturday, yada, yada..."

Paul had to sheepishly correct him that the game was in Oxford. The guy just goes " oh......yeah"

Doubt it because A&M won't spend that kind of money on football. Besides, you can still only take so many players.

Teams like Ole Miss would suffer the most. Teams that are propped up by being in the SEC but that can't afford to really be competitive.

MedDawg, have you actually looked at the NOA, it's not too terribly bad...Triple the sanctions? You're acting like our players murdered somebody

With the NCAA's propensity to frick things up when investigating a school, I wouldn't put it past anyone being able to get out of more serious violations with them.

That's essentially what Miami did. And it's not like Ole Miss has anything to lose at this point since it's clear the NCAA wants to make an example out of them.
