Yep. Funny how they'll argue it when it benefits them, but were perfectly fine playing Notre Dame.

This is what I don't get. To argue that ND was the second best team that season is ludicrous, at best.

Which was kind of the point of the article, huh?

That's generally how sports work.

To be fair, if you are a player, you will probably never stop thinking about it.

INEVITABLE if both win out

Had Alabama won the game in Tuscaloosa, LSU would have dropped no lower than #5 or #4 and sat back as everyone in front of them lost. LSU beats #3 Arkansas and seals their ticket back to New Orleans.... and they lose 21-0.

LSU scared to play Bama. They knew they lucked into the regular season win.

Wow. Former LSU players and fans still melting over 2011. Link included.

Its hard to not notice 2 threads about a game from the 2011 season.

A BR sports reporter asked another BR sports reporter (and former player on the 2011 team) about what it is like to lose the NCG, since an SEC team did it for only the second time in the 15 years of the BCS, earlier this week.

Did any of you LSUsessed morons actually READ the above? It was in response to a question posed by a member of the media - it wasn't (another) thread
started by a 'a whining LSU fan.'

LSU won the first game because Bama had prepared for Jarrett Lee and was totally unprepared for Jefferson and the option. The option just killed Bama in that game. That and the 5 missed fg's.

Bama dominated the second game because Led said 'we'll just run the option on 'em' but this time Bama was prepared and crushed the option. Led failed to adjust his game plan and was afraid Lee would throw some more pick 6's.

That's it in a nutshell.

LOL. LSU would not have been voted back in. You got in because of the influence of the human polls and your past history.

T-Bob was asked about the game. No he didnt play in the game. He just says it sucks to finish the season with a better record, having split the series and having the other team be crowned the champions. Anyone would have a hard time with that. It would have been more melting of him if he refused to come on and talk about it. but instead he said how he felt, because they were doing a piece on the feeling of the Auburn locker room after losing the title game.

Wow? Are you really surprised and do you really think Bama fans wouldn't be saying the exact same things if roles were reversed? Yeah Wow indeed.

Considering we won in 2012, I doubt we would be crying about 2011. It's funny how many people admit "they'll never get over it" and "it changed my perspective on life and college football."

So many lulz in that thread.

Y'all might not have won in 2012 had y'all lost on 1/9.

Why is that funny? Would it be better if they lied about it and said it didn't bug them?
