Nope.

I'd be ok if I never set foot in Birmingham ever again.

It should be in Atlanta.

Unless somebody is going to present me with a huge check, I have no plans to ever enter that shithole of a town again in my lifetime.

No that would be boring, but when was the last time you people were in Birmingham? Pretty damn good town.

No... That would require me stopping my car in Birmingham on my way to Atlanta.

Seriously, wouldn't this be redundant? There's already so many different attractions in Atlanta that I think an SEC HOF would be overlooked

Birmingham, perception aside, is terrible.

It sounds great which I why I think something similar on a smaller scale would be a big boost to Birmingham

No, but there seems to be traction on making Nashville the permanent home of the SEC basketball tourny. People seem to like coming here.

I don't think charity should be a consideration.

Good point. Residents of Arkansas and Mississippi are not allowed to turn their nose up at Birmingham. South Carolina also qualifies for honorable mention

How about we do put it in Birmingham and give half the revenue to UAB so they will stop bitching about UA.

That's actually what made me think of this.

Basketball in Nashville, Football in Atlanta, and Baseball in Birmingham. Nashville and Atlanta are tourist destinations but obviously Birmingham is lacking in that area. I figured this would be a nice enhancement for fans and a big boost to the local economy
