He needs to steal something first.

It'll be a perfect test for him. They aren't that fast but solid. Good prep for next year. BTW, congrats to the AJ invite. He's cost LSU a lot last 3 years but it was up to us to overcome it. Wish him well at next level.

I'll take Nick Marshall—ice cold great at the read option and when things break down he's got a big arm and 4.4 speed.

Thanks

It's obvious that he doesn't deserve to win the award, but it is nice to see him be included. He's worked hard and stayed out of trouble for his entire career and that's all you can ask for. Add in his on the field success and I would have to say he's everything I could ask for in a Bama QB. Sad to see him go, but wish him nothing but the best in the future.

Yeah man, somebody had to lead the scout team offense against the first string defense.

Obviously people don't know what Push means. Winston is more talented but AJ is AJ.

there should be very, very few people saying "no." the only SEC schools that I'd expect to say no would be Alabama because McCarron is all they need to be successful and he does everything he needs to do for their offensive game plan to work (not turn the ball over and keep the defense honest. UGA and LSU are schools that, in my opinion, wouldn't be much better offensively with him than they were this season. LSU would definitely prefer his mobility as opposed to what Mett is like in the pocket. Murray was one of the most efficient QBs in the country this year, not his fault his entire offense got hurt. A&M probably wouldn't need to either; Winston can't make their defense any better.

But honestly, Winston has yet to face a good defense this season. I'd like to see how he'd handle a defense like Alabama first. It's easier to look invincible against his schedule, although they have murdered everyone they've played

I'm all for Marshall but c'mon...... Imagine what Auburn would do to teams with Winston as QB.

Did Jameis not consider Auburn because Gus left? Or was Auburn just never in the picture.

and he's 1/100th the QB Winston is.

JW is better but not that much better. Mett had one of the highest qb ratings in all of cfb( led the sec in qb rating).

Why would you trade a senior QB who has been instrumental in winning three national championships for a highly talented redshirt freshman who has yet to win one?

For the 1000th time. Winning is a TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENT. there is two other phases of football that AJ has zero to do with. AJ has never been the best player on his own offense.
