From my perspective, Auburn fans and UT fans are allowed to chime in and say "SEC streak come to an end." All the rest of ya are sissies... I'd want ANY other SEC team to win it all other than Auburn, really. That includes you, Tennessee.

Sure, on an individual level I can like an auburn fan... but I resist even that. I just flat out don't hate UT like I hate Auburn. period.

Well, obviously I would want Bama to win it rather it end.
But which SEC teams have the pieces of the puzzle to actually win it all?
The two best bets:
Bama
UGA
Then:
TAMU
LSU
Then:
USC
UF
Nobody else even is close.
I'd rather any of those teams win it all over Notre Dam , Oregon and TOSU

My only exception to this rule would be that I would never want another SEC team (or any team for that matter) to have more NC trophies than we do. Past that, I'm all for any of them winning it all other than the barn.

This is the way my heart feels, but my head keeps reminding me of all the times that "strength of schedule, rankings against other conferences, etc." have helped us, but going forward with playoffs and new system in place, the past facts won't be as important.. WHEW, now I'm tired!!

I'm pretty sure rankings still matter when it comes to which conference gets two teams into the playoffs. SEC pride is a selfish thing, as it should be.
I'm in for Bama getting #8 rather than some pipsqueak from a lesser conference.
