Think the recent string of issues was a consideration too. We've had quite a few of the field incidents in the athletic department of late

Dude's a winner and a True Son. I'll gladly take this hire. You're all fricked. Now kindly go piss up a rope.

Here's an interview with him for any actual basketball fans interested in our new coach.

At this point in time he's a good hire for the program.

With the current state of mizzou bball, just getting a coach is a major accomplishment

I know a lot of Mizzou fans are pissed about it, but I'm a fan. I'm excited for the hire and have faith that Kim will be successful here. People can laugh that he's a D2 coach, but wait and see if he doesn't impress. Bookmark away, because I'll stand by my words.

It's just not a great hire... Maybe if the state of MO is loaded with basketball talent the next couple years he can make some noise but I just don't see this guy going into recruiting hotbeds in surrounding states and landing big time players ... I may end up being wrong.. But it's doubtful.

So his first name is Keith, but he chooses to go by Kim?

Odd.

Not with what we have now. But I will say, reminds me a lot of AU's past hires.

He can't be any worse than Rick Ray.

At least he has head coaching experience, Ray had ZERO when we hired him.

I like the hire just need somebody on staff who can recruit. Maybe you should hire Stan Heath as an assistant. He isn't' a bad dude and probably would help with landing some players.

No, but I wouldn't be okay with any of the other coaches in the SEC taking over at Florida.

Before a UK fan steps in- Cal is one hell of a recruiter and a good coach, I just think eventually the NCAA is going to catch up to him (again).

Cyprien was the recruiter while Heath was here...
