Some of us actually have other top programs to play without flying cross country

Hey guy. I'm just talking hypotheticals here. Don't get your panties all knotted up. It was an honest question. I just picked an arbitrary number like "25 years". I didn't say anything like, UF hasn't played on the road OOC since 1991 or anything. Jeez.

That's a fail. Your implication was just that. UFs in state rivals have won 5 NCs in 25 years with UF winning 3 themselves. The reason you guys have to go out of state is your states competition is on par with HS athletics.

I hadn't noticed to be honest.

I suspect my post history proves you to be wrong, per usual.

Come at me when you start playing Tulane every year and Tulane is a top 5-10 program over the last 25 years. Hell, FSU is a harder game than LSU by a wide margin.

Look talent barren states like Louisiana can only support one major program- Florida on the other hand has had at least one program in the playoffs or the national title game only a little less than every other year since 1980 and won a combined 11 national titles in that span-- or more than the entire SEC West minus Bama has in their combined history.

Some schools have main rivals out of state. Some don't. But, every top half SEC team will play either an OOC road game or neutral site game either in Atlanta or Dallas in the first weekend of the year before the decade is done. Except for Georgia and ATM, that means they will all automatically have played out of state ooc games. ATM and Florida have large states with a bunch of D-1 teams not in their conference that they play. No other SEC school can say that, so it is disingenuous to pick on them for it, although ATM should be playing Texas every year.
