Trade an elite, name brand blue-blood program for “Little Sisters of the Poor”? Sure! Sign me up!

Look, you are not better than Texas in anything. Congratulations on making the NC game - you’ll get obliterated, but it’s still something to be proud of. Texas, on the other hand, has actually won a NC game.

In terms of basketball, you haven’t advanced past the second round since 1968.

Do you really want to compare the two schools in terms of baseball success?

This is why they don't pay ya to think bud. On a per fan basis TCU is even more pretentious than Texas.

Every TCU fan I’ve met is a closet Texas fan.

Definitely.

Fort Worth is far and away better than butt-plug-mandatory Austin.

You have better unis.

A great school.

And a good friend of mine was your AD not too long ago.

Lol. The metric is eyeballs watching your games. Respect to your team and program but you are in a totally different universe as compared to Texas or Oklahoma.

Its just a business deal. You pick the programs with the largest fan bases that draw the most TV eyeballs. TCU is simply too small for the SEC. It is not about wins & losses in a direct sense (although that factors into fan engagement).

Even most of you Longhorns don’t root for tcu in times like this which is gay as frickkk
Lol and do y'all ever root for us? Begging for attention and support like making this thread or bitching about other fanbases not rooting for you is lame as frickkk

But it's flattering that your first thought is about Texas after your athletic program just achieved reached its highest point ever. Or the fact that you chose Texas instead of OU. Really makes you think…

We are better at football and possibly better at basketball. Personally I don’t think either should be in the sec but do you really think texas is the better choice?

Have always liked TCU. Regardless of Texas’ status, I’d be happy with having TCU in the league. Looking forward to our game!

I have nothing against either school.

Neither should join the SEC.

TCU is definitely better than Texas at football and that will be true as long as Sark is in Austin. TCU would be great in the SEC. I would prefer Texas in the Big 10 for many reasons, so I would love if Texas made that move and TCU took our place in the SEC.

we're only talking about football, sure. TCU has outperformed Texas over the last decade. I'd be a fool to deny that, but there's more to sports programs than the football team. I only really care about Texas football, personally, but the the Texas sports programs are riding high right now. The only program really lagging right now is the football program.

Probably 85% of the SEC fans here only care about football.

Well, now that some SEC teams are doing decent in bball, there's some bandwagon fans for that now.
