Meyer left us talent, but the attitudes he left were very bad.

If Meyer stayed, we wouldn't have gone 7-6 and probably were in a title game last year or challenging Bama very strongly in the SEC title game. The guy won. Addazio left and Meyer could have easily found an OC to work with.

Gator fans keep acting as though Meyer left us nothing. He actually left us deep in plenty of positions especially on defense. We had Burton, Reed, the number 1 QB Driskel, Dunbar, Patton, Harriston, Halapio, Green, Thurman, Silberman, Leonard, etc..He left big name recruits at every position.

It's time we stop blaming Meyer. He would still be winning here. It's our current staff that is the problem. They have zero clue how to develop anything on the offensive side of the ball.

Thought he was a pretty good college HC.
If you can make RUTGERS football relevant, you must be doing something right.

How can you hold the situation in Tampa against him? Plenty of college coaches have tried and failed, in the NFL (OBC and Saban included).

I agree. Everyone points to the quote where Meyer called our program "broken," but I think he just meant there were some entitlement issues, etc due to his retiring/unretiring shenanigans. It wasn't so bad that it should take 3 years to fix.

He left a ton of talent, and Muschamp rode that to a BCS bowl last year.

Zero Big East titles. Sorry, but that's not cutting it at UF.

That is what he meant. The freshman from the 2010 class felt entitled and started a lot of issues with the seniors. The off the field issues were growing to an uncontrollable level.

But he had players...and he would have won here.
