Get used to it bama fans...Every year, you are going to hear the rumors...we did! Comes with the Saban package

I watch ESPN and listen to sports shows everyday but I haven't heard 1 rumor about Saban. The only rumors I've heard are coming from this site.

I don't mind Saban being mentioned for a job offer because I know that's going to happen. If he wants to leave, that's fine with me but I haven't heard one program mention Saban for a job offer since he's been here.

ESPN gets a lot of their insider info from TD.

I find it humorous that there are folks that seem to believe that 'bama is the be all and end all when it comes to football jobs.

There are better jobs out there and Saban has shown that he is not beyond jumping ship for a slightly better gig. Saban leaving is not behond reason.

Really? Name one college job that is better than the one he has now. I didn't say name one AS GOOD because there are at least a couple in the SEC alone that could be considered equal. But take into account the money, facilities, fan support, recruiting base, and tradition.....there is no job above Bama. Anywhere else he would go would be considered a lateral move.

I didn't limit it to college jobs, but Notre Dame has already been brought up. USC is a higher profile gig due to their decade of success.

Money is a no-brainer. It's not which school has the most, it's which school is willing to pay the most. LSU is by no means the nation's richest university, but Miles was the nation's highest paid coach.

Would you say that 'bama was Saban's dream job, or was it the best job available when he was looking to sneak out of the NFL?

Best job available. But the fact that he can accomplish everything he wants at Bama was big too.
