NOLA.com did a poll back in September. Apparently Herman is leading THAT poll now. As much as I, and plenty other people, want Coach O to stay on staff, I do not want him as head coach. And I'm from his home town. People I've spoken to feel the same way.

Assuming that Herman goes to Texas, LSU will go after Jimbo first, if they don't already have him ready to sign. Orgeron will probably get the job if the condition of getting a forward thinking offensive coordinator is met.
This is not a slight to Ensminger, but I am sure he would be happy to stay as TE coach.

Just like the latest election divided our country, LSU fans are also divided on their coaching candidates. From an outside prospective, Orgeron seems to be Trump. Make LSU Great Again. Jimbo has to be Hillary because I'm not sure I can believe anything he says.

I generally pull for LSU but the fact is that I've seen at least 5 posters of theirs that even now honestly think that they are still one of the best 3 to 5 football teams in the nation. That level of delusion is downright baffling to me.

Fans are caught up in the Coach O hype. We have been drained by Miles since 1/9 and probably before that. Cut them some slack, I'm going to go with they are caught up in the moment and hope that most know the difference between Coach O who has done a unbelievable job holding this program together and Jimbo Fisher.
