You tell me.

Articulating a point without "mouth breather" or "hillbilly" shouldn't be all that hard. I guess it's just how it goes here though, everyone just shite talks each other so much that it's just the default response.

A loss to UF would be bullshite but 8-4 wouldn't be a bad year and it would represent progress for us as a program. 8-4 is generally considered par for the course this year for UT fans. Better than this is a breakthrough year, worse than this is a failure and disappointment. 8-4 itself would be ok and is probably the minimum record to keep most UT fans convinced that he is making progress.

It is certainly possible. Our defense "in theory" should be able to keep us in every game. But we really don't know how good of a coach Geoff Collins is. MSU folks didn't seem to like him. Not sure if that is based on sour grapes or not.

But let's just say our defense remains strong. Well, then all we really need is some type of improvement on offense to keep us in reach. However, all other teams in the East are going to remain static, and even though we have on paper much better offensive minded coaches, they still have to install it so there is going to be a learning curve.

The UT game seems to be all anyone can think about and point to lately, but IMO the pressure is on them, not us and in the grand scheme of things the streak will end one day and it may very well be this year. But that doesn't matter to me. I just want us to show improvement throughout the year unlike what we have seen over the past 6. The UT game can't be viewed by UF fans in a vacuum. Muschamp never lost to UT, but was a no where near being close to a competent HC. What he did to the UF brand is shameful and ultimately beating UT every year only gave us bragging rights, which are cheap if you can't win Championships. Basically what I'm trying to say is if Mac loses to UT I hope UF fans don't blow it out of proportion cause they shouln't. One game by itself means nothing and says nothing about what Mac will do in the future with UF. Our W-L record will over the next 2 years as well as recruiting.

Here's hoping in the end Mac is the guy to get us headed in the right direction soon. It's been a sad cluster frick over the years and we are all tired of it.

Other than you delusional morons known as Gator fans are posting, not a thing.

Your school has a slight down period and they have to sell tickets to the home opener for $5.

What a fan base. Let UF have a couple of down years in a row and you'll be able to play at a local high school stadium.

Perspective is key. Instant gratification is a bitch, it's hard to be patient however, especially when growth and progress are being measured in depth and learning the system, instead of wins.
