So the way to better their W/L record is to switch Vandy out with the likes of UGA/UF/USCe/UT/MIZZOU?

Your premise is false. They would not switch out any opponent for Vanderbilt. Rather, they would play a different opponent each time on a rotating or randomized basis.

Vanderbilt is not a sure win anymore, so Ole Miss has nothing to gain by keeping the pcd matchup. Ole Miss would actually do better with a rotating system in which they sometimes get a team that is down, like Kentucky or Tennessee. Sometimes even good teams are down like Arkansas last year and Auburn the year before, and Ole Miss might catch them on the right year. ETC.

In short, it is in Ole Miss' best interest to abandon the pcd system.

This subject has been voted on time and time again and the coaches & ADs voted to keep permanent divsion rival in tact.

That doesn't mean they can't be persuaded to vote against it, if only they looked at from a different perspective.

They would be switching them out in every year that Vandy isn't part of their rotation since they currently play them every year.

History as proven that Vandy will continue to be one of the two worst teams in the east over the long haul. The chances of Vandy being able to sustain the level of success they had under Franklin are slim at the very best.
