But the reality is, right now they are a better football team than any team in the east and all the teams in the west other than Ark, Bama and LSU. Once Moore is gone and possibly Petterson, they will be La Tech again and be a non factor. But for now, you are either blind or a fool if you don't think they are a pretty good team.

This times a hundred.

Disagree with this. There reputation is built on a weak arse schedule. Hell, we made OM look like an NFL team in the first half against us. Boise is getting about 1 to 2 decent opponents a year in regular season. Let them get pounded for a few weeks in a row and lets see how they would do.

SEC Kids are not mutants. The do not handle a weekly beating any better than kids out west.

Boise has some decent depth. Take off your SEC shades for a second and look at them. They change a lot of players out in each game. Petterson knows how to develop talent.

They could have started in the East this year and beat every team in it.

Exactly. But they are not facing a weekly beating. How many players are there in the SEC right now that are out for the season. When they face a tougher schedule, I will jump on the Boise bandwagon with everyone else. Look at their schedule. Their "quality" win this year is Georgia. They have played 1 team that is currently in top 25 (Georgia @ 22) with no ranked team left to play. Is that impressive?

Boise would go undefeated in East play probably. Who do they lose against?

If we are talking an even playing field with no injuries, I could see them losing a game or two. Right now, they would beat any one of us though, because the East is beat to shite.

What would they be like after facing your schedule as opposed to what they have faced. We all know how we beat on each other in the SEC. They aren't having to face that is what I am trying to get across.

Depends on when they played what team. UGA early season wasn't doing too good. Now I would bet the Dawgs would beat them. UF would beat them (pre injuries to Brantley/Demps/Driskel). USC would win @ 85-100%.

Boise doesn't run a pass happy offense.

They run the ball too.

Sure they pass more, but this isn't West Virginia or Texas Tech we are talking about.

They had 2604 yards last year and Doug Martin does run the ball.

I think they could but it depends the schedule. Just as difficult as it is for them to go on the road and win games (and the Daily grind of the SEC) I think it would be difficult for teams not named Alabama, LSU or Arkansas to travel across the country and play on that bullshite of a field.

No question about it. Boise is way better than any team in the East, easily.

I will admit, I dont watch much of Boise, but seeing that Kellen Moore has ridiculous stats made me assume that they pass it like crazy.

they would certainly be one of the teams fighting to win it in the end

they are actually decently balanced and doug martin is a pretty damn good back. they did have a lot of trouble running the first 3 quarters on us though but it didn't matter because they just began using their quick passing game as a pseudo run game and then it began to open up holes in time and at that point our defense was helpless. not saying that would happen every game but boise has the offensive capabilities, they are not totally 1 sided

I agree with this. Especially the way the east is this year.

I'm not saying they will go 11-1 and destroy everyone.

But they'll be in games with people, especially if they get the "better" teams at home in Boise.

As shitty as that place is, I still think it would be difficult for teams like Uga, Florida, Tenn or SC to travel whatever amount of Miles it is to the Blue Turf and play in that weather.

Forget about the stats. They dont mean anything. The had the exact same opportunity UGA did at the beginning of the season and romped UGA. Some are saying UGA is better now. Well, Boise probably is as well.

You cant make excuses for one team and not the other. I am no Boise lover. I hate them being in the talk because I do no think they have earned that right by playing a schedule.

But, they are better than any team in the east this year and would run the table in the east.

Kellen Moore is better than any QB in the east and they have a better coach than anyone in the east. The are farily deep which is what a lot of you are getting at with the week to week thing.

If they play Bama or LSU, they will get ran off the field. But so would all the teams in the east.

I see your point completely, and I agree that Moore is a better QB than the East has to offer, but I just don't think it is a 100% guarantee that they would run the table. That's just me. I just don't think they could sustain that high level of play EVERY week. They can get away with it in their conference, but you can't get away with that in the SEC unless you play Kentucky, Vandy, or Ole Miss every week.

And i would probably agree with you in a normal year but look at who is in the east this year

Kentucky, Vandy, Tennessee. None are doing well

Florida. Very down year.

UGA and USC - Mid level teams. Neither is a real top 15 team.

Look. We suck this year and we are more than likely going to run the table in the east as far as the top teams go. USCe and Florida already beat and UGA is next. If Auburn gets up for that game, they will beat UGA in Athens..

And Boise would run us off the field.

Boise plays very physical and can run the ball on any east team. The SEC East this year and last is nothing special. Normally, I would agree with you but with the shape the east is in, it would really be easy for them to run the table.

Hopefully, the east will rebound soon and it will be a moot point

Any argument I have to that gets trumped by the fact that y'all beat us, but damn, if Kellen Moore had gone 9-23 with 3 INTS, y'all would have beat Boise, too.

I know... y'all did what everyone should have done. Stopped Lattimore and forced Garcia to try and beat you. Glad y'all are off the schedule for a few years.
