Yes, because that would mean LSU was the only team worth a damn that they beat.

I would like to see Bama have one more chance to stop JFF. But I doubt they will ever see him again. He is ready to move on.

If A&M and Alabama faced off in Pasadena in January, the game might go into overtime this time.

If we did complain, we'd be a bunch of damn sissies.

lol, but the obvious answer is that we wouldn't complain a bit. you don't have to LIKE it, but whoever are the best two teams in the country should be in the big one. period.

i really will miss the bcs. it was STUPID to let loud mouth complaining suckers get rid of it. it almost always got it right.

ALSO, in spite of how awful our secondary seemed to be for the firs time around, I can't help but think Saban would really be ready to play the same exact team twice in one year. I think we would develop a game plan that would be pitch perfect. Sumlin can only do so much to re-prepare for us.

In all openness, I would actually pull for that rematch.

I'd almost view it as appropriate. Two games that came down to the last minute already. You kind of want there to be a rubber match.

If everyone else in America loses a game and the second best team from another conf has a loss to a terrible team like Iowa State

Which team has a better résumé?

Team A: beat 2 ranked teams ,beat 3 teams with a winning record

Team B: beat 5 ranked teams, beat 7 teams with winning record.

Not if they are the best in the end. Do I want to play them (MAnziel) again? Hell no.

Lol a targeting call which got reviewed, Dick got to go back in the game, and then ATM punted.
They were still given the 15 yard penalty.

this mentality some have that losses are more important than wins is absurd.

Exactly. During the entire time we've had the bcs , who you beat counted far more than who you lost too. If who you lost too was so important , then why didnt Michigan play Ohio state in 06. Michigan's only loss was by 3 , IN OT , against the #1 team and UF lost to Auburn.

The bcs says nothing about the two " best " teams. It's says #1 vs #2. The reason it says 1vs 2 and NOT ", the two best teams", is because the word best , in relation to CFB, is subjective as hell.
I'm sure every fan in CFB knew Bama was BETTER than Utah.

No wouldn't complain.

I will say I am not sure we could be them again, but no complaints.

That is a horrible semantics debate. I think you'd lose that one, too.

I wonder why Boise has had such a hard time getting in when they've been undefeated.

It's not semantics at all. Take last year for instance. Had Ohio state not self imposed a bowl ban , the BCSCG would've been Ohio State vs Notre Dame. Do you get it now? Bama was still the best team last year, but wouldn't have gotten in.

What? Boise state only went undefeated one year. 09. There were two undefeated teams with BETTER RESUMES.

I didn't say it was perfect. I just said that the BCS has done a great job.

If A&M wins every game on their schedule in dominating fashion and there are no undefeated teams out there and A&M is clearly one of the two best teams, they would totally deserve one.
