In the unlikely scenario that mizzou runs the table and beats an undefeated alabama in Atlanta, while Florida state and Oregon run the table as well, do you think the bama win would push them into the title game or would they be too far behind to get in?

Albeit a small possibly the scenario is possible. Personally I think they would get left out, unless Virginia tech tanks giving Florida state a bad conference championship game. How shitty would that be? 7 time defending champ is left out of the show. Thoughts?

Undefeated SEC champion is automatic.

Who do they jump?

They would likely be behind bama, Oregon, FSU, and Ohio state before the game. They'd have to jump from 5 to 2

Depends on the SECCG opponent.

Undefeated Alabama? Going to play Alabama in BCSNCG

One loss Auburn? Sugar bowl bound

If Missouri goes unbeaten, they would have to beat the returning Heisman Winner and the #1 team (and defense) in the country in back to back weeks.

If Missouri goes 13-0, they vault to #1 unanimously.

First, it ain't happening.

Second, if it did happen, we would have leap frogged tOSU by then because there schedule sucks.

Mizzou would jump one of those teams even if it was Auburn.

And Ohio State isn't even in the discussion. The only way they get in is if they're one of the only two unbeatens left.

Maybe I'm just naive but I'm not seeing the troll. Seems like an honest question from an Auburn fan. Having said that, this scenario won't play out anyway

You were ahead of your time. I know how bad that sucked too, I was at Auburn at the time and went to the games. That was a good team.

Guys...slow down. There is still a lotta football left...teams like Oregon and tOSU and especially the girls school may all lose a game yet. Calm down and relax...Mizzou needs to worry about their end of the bargain...5 SEC games left.

Oh, I don't think there's any chance Mizzou ends up 13-0. Just talking hypothetically.

If they manage to beat USCe, aTM and the west champion I will take back whatever I have previously said about their team.
