they look the same. the "A" isnt cool at all. bama should stick to the old school look. I like their old logos more.

Agree Burt, old school for Bama and the LSU helmet is cool. LSU is the only school that can pull off the purple and gold, the others over do purple.

Still beat an undefeated top 5 UGA team that day though. 
Edit: 20, what did you think about the throwback unis in 06? I love them and wish we'd wear them on a regular basis.

With Mizzou in the SEC now, I'd vote them or Vandy. Black and gold just looks awful, and so does a Goldish M and V on the helmet.
And with A&M joining, we just have too much maroon for one conference: USCe, Ark, Bammer, A&M, MSU
