I don't have a problem saying the 2012 Auburn football team was the worst team since 2005. It was the worst team Auburn has fielded in the modern football era. Never has an Auburn team fielded a team with players who couldn't give a lesser shite of whether or not they won. Our coaching staff except for a few were abysmal. Scott Loeffler is the worst coach in FBS PERIOD. It says how much a new coach can rejuvenate a program with what happened in 2013.

People love to talk about Lane Kiffin falling backwards into jobs but the king of that is Loeffler. I don't know WTF he does to get coaching jobs but he has never accomplished anything other than fetching Tom Brady water. And he doesn't just show up and get mediocre results, he shows up and burns places to the ground.

And people wonder why Stoops got a raise after doubling the win total from last season. Might have something to do with inheriting a team that was worse then UK's probation year teams. Thanks Joker.

Our 2011 was the worst. We lost to Kentucky by 17 and LA tech by 20. Good ole Houston Dale.

We Auburn folks joke about that. Va Tech last year had their worst stats offensively since Frank Beamer became the coach. They did better this year, but that had a lot to do with having a descent to good QB & the ACC being a terrible conference.

And they were still in a 0-0 tie with Wake Forest that went to Overtime (and they lost).

Is SL still employed? We had a lot of things going on...most of us don't know about, but my problem with SL was the predictability of his offense. It was run run play action pass. We were constantly passing on 3rd down & 8 plus yards. With Kiehl Frazier & Clint Moseley at QB you've got a disaster on your hands.

Frankly, this list and the fact that 2014 UK isn't on it, speaks pretty well of the job Mark Stoops is doing here.

As someone who sat through all 7 home games in 2012, it's hard to describe in words how bad that team was.

Outside of the inexplicable pounding of a Kent State team that would just barely miss a BCS Bowl bid and a pretty competitive game against a UGA team that needed a wake-up call on defense, Kentucky was a study in futility.

List is garbage. The 2011 Ole Miss team was the worst SEC team I've ever seen in person, and being a MSU fan I've seen lots of bad football, i.e. the Croom years.

I find it impossible to believe a team could have been worse than 2012 Auburn.

The Auburn fans were really good sports about the whole thing, considering the circumstances.

I was at the game as well, and I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that was the same day as the A&M victory over Bama. I remember Auburn fans celebrating during the tailgating so I'm sure that made them feel a little bit better than they would have otherwise.

I have to say that the 2011 Ole Miss team in Houston Nutt's swan song season was one of the worst this century.
