The '85 Bears couldn't stop Gus' offense if they missed 2 dozen tackles and whiffed at passes thrown right in their faces, Sandman. Worst execution by defensive players at LSU since '98/'99. Stems from lack of leadership amongst the players and coaches IMO. FWIW, the only semblance of a defensive leader for LSU hales from 'Bama; Mr. Alexander. Kids got heart.

In in the midst of your own struggles, LSU still firmly at the front of your mind.

I used to appreciate it, but now it's getting uncomfortable. Aggy is the Allen to LSU's Phil.

Yeah, but Tigers have played the tougher schedule so you did not factor that in.

Compare yesterday's stats against our worst last year and they're comparable. Add to that we haven't started the much tougher second half of the season. It's not looking good.
