Let's hope the partial Gump wife gives as good as she got for the endless whining, kvetching, bellyaching, "dressing in sack cloth and heaping ashes on his head" drama over the PP call. Something has to be done to balance the karmic rip in timespace caused by the incessant insect whine from BR over a ref call.

No pick in '10. Pick in '11.
This is correct, but there was one in 09.

Sour subject? FWIW I have never brought up the 09 game to them.

the difference in the two is that they got reid's right and the conference office backs it up , but pp7 int. was - no comment by the office - which makes me believe that the game call was wrong, they should have owned up - we all make mistakes!

Maybe the reason I never bring it up to them is that they give me a ticket to the game every year its in Tuscaloosa.
They are good people, I just think the sting over the loss was a little too much this year.

All I have been hearing from them since the game is that Reid's interception was just as bad of a call as PP7's was in 09.
at least they're admitting the PP7 play was a bad call...

right, PP being way in bounds with 2 feet was the right call as far as calling incomplete.

I talked to some hardcore Bama fans yesterday who pick up things from where I work. Hardcore as in Bama Magnets and stickers ALL OVER their Truck.

He said it was a pick but that they only showed ONE replay of the pick on the Jumbo Screen. They wouldn't show any more so they all thought it was bullshite until they got home and started looking for YouTube clips.

He said he thinks they only showed one replay at the game to keep the crowd in it, said it worked to. Everyone got louder.....well at least until OT.

In 2009, PP7 did not intercept the ball because he only got ONE foot in bounds...
