I'd say Auburn and Ok St are comparative. Both identical records to the teams that went over them and both were conference champions.
In fact, Ok St might be worse. They got passed over by a team that did not even win their own division.

Alabamas impressive wins over powerhouses North Texas , Georgia Southern , and Kent state were enough in my mind to get them in!

If you're asking "The Best Team That Didn't Make the BCSCG", it's Auburn. But they didn't get snubbed. Their OOC schedule killed them.

With 3 undefeated teams from major conferences, someone will get screwed.
But this year there was a clear number 2 and there was no reason for the screwing.
Bama was selected on some new subjective "eyeball" test which was created just for Bama when the usual factors like wins, strength of schedule, conference championship, etc favored Okie.
