job. Also, heard 7 other candidates interviewed but it seems Jewitt and Mingione are the two names...Nick was on the UK staff when Cohen was HC.
Eta: sounds like Nick is heading back to Lexington. State fans, how do you feel about this.

No one here cares about your irrelevant program. Go post this on the uk board

Yet you care enough to post every single time someone posts about UK.
And they're both SEC coaches on SEC teams, so sorry.

Go milk your jizz jar jug head. Relevant that State or Vandy could lose an important coach on their staff. Go start another shitty troll job on LSU.

And here they come.
In the big picture, any potential move will change nothing. Like I said, take this trash somewhere else. I'd rather read another ole miss death penalty thread.

Yet, you posted in the thread.

Holy shite. Can we have one fricking thread with legitimate discussion without some a-hole ruining it?

shotcaller has made it his mission in life to try to ruin any UK threads on the Rant.
I'm pretty sure Cal fricked his girl. No other viable explanation at this point for such blatant insecurity.

Not when it comes to uk, it won't. They'll still be an afterthought in the college baseball world.
And "afterthought" is giving them more credit than due. You're welcome.

Also, been told since Mitch is out in Oregon for the Track Championship, he's been interviewing west coast coaches. Sounds like Jewitt and Mingione are front runners. Belle knows where I am getting the info.

Quit being a clown, guy. If you don't like the topic then don't enter the thread.

Has UK ever made it to the CWS? Not trolling.

I'd go after the UCSB coach.

CWS by SEC (and former SEC) school
17 / 6 | LSU
11 / 2 | South Carolina
09 / 0 | Florida
09 / 0 | Mississippi State
08 / 0 | Arkansas (only 4 as SEC member)
06 / 1 | Georgia
06 / 1 | Missouri (none as SEC member)
05 / 0 | Alabama
05 / 0 | Ole Miss
05 / 0 | Texas A&M (none as SEC member)
04 / 0 | Auburn
04 / 0 | Tennessee
03 / 1 | Vanderbilt
03 / 0 | Georgia Tech (none as SEC member)
02 / 0 | Tulane (none as SEC member)
00 / 0 | Kentucky
UK has been to the tournament 6 times with the last trip in 2014 but has never advanced to the CWS. In 2014 the Wildcat softball team advanced to their first WCWS breaking that drought, so anything is possible. Would be pretty cool if all current and former SEC FBS schools had made a trip to the CWS.

And I imagine the reason it's been so quiet on the hiring front is that he has at least one potential candidate in a Super Regional. I have a feeling Chicketts just opened himself up to some bigger teams trying to poach him though with his win against UofL today.

Kentucky has never made it out of regional play. That surprises me considering they won the SEC under Cohen

Eli is around so nothing stopping him from a drive to Louisville to look at the UCSB coach.

Yeah, I think the closest was losing to Arizona in the regional final in 2008 in Ann Arbor. And the Louisville regional recently.
