Shaq would be a terrible coach for development. His experience learning hte game comes from such a dominant athletic perspective, he could never relate with kids on their weak points since he never had any other than FT

It would be like asking Cam Newton to be a QB coach. I wouldn't want that other than recruiting

This is so fricking stupid for multiple reasons.

1. Shaq was incredibly sound when it came to technique. He was a true student of the game when it came to footwork, working within an offense, and passing off the double team. His passing ability and intelligence on the court are his two most underrated qualities.

2. Dr. O'Neal is far more intelligent than your computer thief.

3. He'd coach big men in the SEC. I think he'd be better than most.

I'm not even convinced Peyton would necessarily be a great coach. There's a lot more than X's and O's

I'm not either.

He’s a workaholic and perfectionist. I almost feel like he’d be too tough on the kids.

Or he could end up like Spurrier and be a quarterback whisperer.

He's gay?

That would make him "highly qualified" for that job, wouldn't it?

I think Peyton Manning will be an excellent coach, if he chooses to become a coach.

To answer the question for Arkansas, I've always thought it would be cool to see Tony Bua come coach linebackers. Haha. That dude was a freak of nature and I have no doubt he could coach up a very fierce corps of LBs. I would like to see Brandon Allen come back as a QBs coach if he doesn't make it in the NFL. I think his ability as a QB and his knowledge of the game is off the charts. It is pretty remarkable what he accomplished considering he was working with a new offensive coordinator every damn year he was here. He would be another damn fine coach, IMO.

Obviously I don't know for sure, but Peyton showed such dedications to football and prep for games. Maybe recruiting could fill that void. Who knows
