I'm dying for a legit pass rush. We haven't had one in the Saban era.

You have had a handful of pass rushing LBs plus Marcel Dareus. They all had success even if not elite Derrick Thomas levels

Auburn would have had Carl Lawson as one of the elite DEs along with guys like Chris Jones and the Arky DE but Carl is out.

From Auburn, I'd look for a guy like Gabe Wright to do well probably not great. He dropped down to 280-285 and will be a DE/DT hybrid

Hunter passed up Jordan Allen on the depth chart and Allen transferred...

I think everyone sees the writing on the wall. It's hunters time to shine!

Ray Drew and Leonard Floyd will be nightmares. I also believe Lorenzo Carter could have Clowney type implications in his 1st year on campus.

Mark Jackson likes to say: "Mama, there goes that man". I'm pumped after watching that.

1. Would be Carl Lawson... This injury sucks
2. Zadarious Smith
3. Myles Garrett ... I think he's that good
4. CJ Johnson... Book it

Alvin "Bud" Dupree at DE/OLB this season will be a force. He's 6'4 270 lbs and was faster in a footrace than UK's former QB, Jalen Whitlow.

He's going to be the premier edge rusher in the league this year. He has first-round athleticism and will be in his second year of the new scheme.

UK's other starting DE, Za'Darius Smith, is a 6'6 275 lb monster. He played effectively last year as a JUCO transfer but should take a big step forward this year. He had 6.0 sacks and 6.5 TFL.

UK's DEs were 2nd and 3rd the SEC last year in tackles by defensive linemen with 61 (Dupree) and 59 (Smith).

It sounds nuts to say, and I'll be the first to admit that I'm a homer, but I don't think any team in the SEC will field a better pair of DEs next year.

Why would our back-up Full back be the best pass rusher? He's a freak I agree, but your inflated view of Arkansas should be focused on our coach instead no?

SCAR will have one, we usually do.

Abraham set the bar high (and he just passed Lawrence Taylor and moved into the top ten all-time career NFL sacks leaders and he is still active. LINK)

Norwood
Matthews
Ingram
Taylor
Clowney (although Quarles was the man last season)

Darius English this year probably, At 6-6 244 right now, if he gets to 255-260ish he'll be dangerous and he's only a Soph.

DE Gerald Dixon is built in the same mold at Melvin Ingram, he has potential. (6-2 270 and can run.) If his light comes-on this season he might be the one for us as well - he's just a Soph as well. He's been playing behind Clowney.
