I thought LSU would win. I was wrong. This is entirely different.

Yeah Saban is a goner imo. I'm not even trolling Bama. He has done everything possible at Bama. He has always wanted to be a successful NFL coach. No way he doesn't give it another shot if the opportunity comes about.

This time, he's really gonna go!

At least 15 more years. McElwain will step right in and keep it all running with no problem at all.

hey'll likely botch their next hire based on Bama's history

Every coach at Bama over the last 60+ years has at least one 10 win season. Bama has won at lease one SEC title in every decade and has multiple titles in every decade since the 1960s. Hell, Mike DuBose won an SEC Title.

Bama will be just fine when Saban retires to the lake and to ESPN. Will there be a dip? Of course. How could a team not dip from Dynasty? Bama will be able to attract a very good coach (prolly Dabo) and continue being a top 10 team contending for SEC titles annually and National titles every few years.

I feel the likelihood of NS going to indi is about the same as he taking a manager job for the yankees

Bama is the New York Yankees of college football so in a sense he has the best job.

So you're saying that Alabama is better than Florida in terms of high school talent in the state? And you're saying that the West is easier than the East?

Yep. Saban is dead, buried, gone. GONE! After this season. This time. For real.

What is your point? Florida has probably 4X the population of Alabama. Bama recruits nationwide and not just the states of Alabama or Florida. Go back to 2008 and look at recruiting rankings. We pull guys from all over the place. We hear that same argument from LSU fans.

So what if you win the east...you have to win the conference and then win in the playoffs...playing in a suck division isn't necessarily helping you as much as you think. The SEC West is the toughest division in college football right now. The winner will be battle tested moreso than say tOSU, Clemson, or Baylor

One day Saban will stop being the head coach at Alabama. That much is a fact.
