You're acting like it was some monster breaking into someone's house and forcing her with a weapon.

Did you watch the video? She was drugged and then raped with her head pinned to a bathroom floor. Any man who does that is a monster. You or a family member must have done this to someone so it's no big deal right. After all bitch had the nerve to go to a bar she had it coming.

The woman recanted, but Saban still kicked him off the team. Malzahn started to recruit Taylor before the media backlash. Not sure that makes him any better.

You are feeling dumb now and digging yourself a deeper hole. Just admit you made a dumb and senseless post and move along.

Dude, you have 55k posts on an internet forum. Do I really need to tell how everyone else in the world feels about this?

Hint: it's not good.

Why was he kicked off the team for a false story?

I am going to assume you are not trying to be a complete a-hole, but why don't we put some actual cited sources.

LINK

quote:

Early on the morning of Dec. 7, 2012, a freshman at Florida State University reported that she had been raped by a stranger somewhere off campus after a night of drinking at a popular Tallahassee bar called Potbelly’s.

As she gave her account to the police, several bruises began to appear, indicating recent trauma. Tests would later find semen on her underwear.

Notice she went to the police that night and could not identify her attacker.

quote:

In his announcement, the prosecutor, William N. Meggs, acknowledged a number of shortcomings in the police investigation.

quote:

After the accuser identified Mr. Winston as her assailant, the police did not even attempt to interview him for nearly two weeks and never obtained his DNA.

The detective handling the case waited two months to write his first report and then prematurely suspended his inquiry without informing the accuser. By the time the prosecutor got the case, important evidence had disappeared, including the video of the sexual act.

One of the other guys recorded it, and then destroyed the video evidence.
quote:

Upon returning to her room, she posted a plea online for someone to call her. Two friends did. One was Jenna Weisberg, another Florida State student.

“I was awake and I called her and she was hysterically crying,” Ms. Weisberg said. “‘I think I just got raped,’” she recalled her saying. Ms. Weisberg drove immediately to the friend’s dorm.

quote:

A month before the rape accusation became public, the university’s victim advocate learned that a second woman had sought counseling after a sexual encounter with Mr. Winston, according to the prosecutor’s office. The woman did not call it rape — she did not say “no.” But the encounter, not previously reported, “was of such a nature that she felt violated or felt that she needed to seek some type of counseling for her emotions about the experience,” according to Georgia Cappleman, the chief assistant state attorney, who said she had spoken with the advocate but not with the woman.

The police actually notified Florida State about the allegations before notifying the prosecutor.

It probably had some truth to it. Did Malzahn ever pursue Taylor? A simple yes or no should suffice.

Lots of sanctimony mixed in with assholery on this thread. If anybody wants to put their money where their self-righteousness is, here is the link: LINK. It's hard to think of a better cause.

I will credit Alabama fans for this. At least none of you ever said anything remotely ignorant like the bitch had it coming.

Why would this be a question? It is known Malzahn was and backed off. One coach didn't...

Agreed. I don't like that Saban pursued JT, and I hope he doesn't make the same mistake again. My post history confirms this.

I just think it's hypocritical that Rocky brought up Taylor when Auburn pursued him a bit before the media backlash.

Stupid initial post, with stupid emotional replies. And some dude taking significant time out of his day to research something I would never read = priceless.

Welcome to the internet, gentlemen. Things are going to get more offensive.

But you didn't call out bamasgot for being hypocritical for the thread which is all I was doing. Your coach didn't stop even when he knew there would be backlash and fans like you were against it, but let's add in that Malzahn recruited him so you feel better.
