I think I remember hearing a former Redskins coach or player say they used to start out in training camp with 100 yards sprints, but by the time the season rolled around they'd cut it down to 10 yards sprints or bursts, since it was a fact that most football plays are made within that distance. I don't recall who the person was or whether they were part of good Redskins teams or bad Redskins teams.

We did. We watched film, then had a work out and ran sprints.
