That schedule. Gator is in the driver's seat. I salute them for doing it the right way, and coming out and punching people in the face with old school ball. Should be a great game this Saturday. But one UF can actually probably afford to lose.

We can lose, but let's hope the players don't have that mind set

Not so fast. UF loses to LSU and UGA. Bama beats UT. UGA wins out.

UGA is your East representative in Atlanta. I don't think it'll play out that way, but...

Georgia likely just has to beat Florida to win the East.

However, Georgia never beats Florida.

Not having Tunsil and 3 other OL starters for that game hurt Ole Miss badly. We had a bad game. it happens. Bama had a bad game against Ole Miss. it happens. the difference was that bama had their bad game in front of 105 thousand tide fans. Ole Miss had their bad game at the swamp...if bama and ole miss had played in oxford then the beating they received would have been as bad as what the gators did to ole miss....regardless, LSU will be hardpressed to beat any of thos 3 teams without a qb and a passing game.

UGA and Mizzou both losing Saturday may work to LSU's advantage. Having beaten Kentucky head to head, UF now has a 2-game lead on ever team in the East and LSU in Death Valley is there toughest remaining conference game. They can afford to lose the game and still be in good shape. They may not have that "backs against the wall" motivation.

I thought that was what Georgia supporters were saying last week as well.

Every SEC game should be viewed as do or die from this point on for those still contending.

No mulligans this year, a loss will probably bite you in the arse.

Looking at you LSU.

Bottom line is that Ole Miss lost and now you need a little help. But if you can win out you will be fine but keep your predictions about LSU to yourself. We will meet in a few weeks.

fair enough...but surely you will agree with me that Auburn, state college and Syracuse are not on the same plane as Florida Bama and Ole Miss?

no, not true. we control our destiny, just like LSU and A&M...the difference is that Ole Miss has put Bama in the rear view mirror while you guys still have to face them. I like Ole Miss position in the race at this point.

I am not sure. I think the SEC as a whole is down and UF might blow chunks like OM. Bama seems legit though

I probably would too if I was just going off of this season. But history tells you to know better than Ole Miss going to Atlanta.
